Educational Qualifications:
A recognized university’s M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, Forensic, or Zoology Science with a focus in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Forensic Science.
Application Fee:
- Application fees for candidates in the general category are Rs. 297, plus a processing charge and VAT.
- The application price is Rs. 197 for candidates in the SC, ST, OBC, and MOBC categories, plus a processing charge and VAT.
- Application fees are waived for applicants in the BPL category, although CSCSPV charges a processing cost of Rs. 40 which is taxable in addition to the processing fee of Rs. 7.20, for a total of Rs. 47.20.
Age Limit:
As of January 1, 2023, the applicants shall be at least 21 years old and not more than 38 years old.
Salary:
- Candidates who are chosen for the Scientific Officer post will get a salary range of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,10,000 and a grade pay of Rs. 12,700. – 4 Pay Band
- Selected applicants would get a salary ranging from Rs. 22,0001/- to Rs. 97,0001/- with a grade pay of Rs. 11,800/- for the job of Junior Scientific Officer. – 3 Pay Band
